Tamara works with plants as medicine to help facilitate healing on a holistic
level, in line with nature. She finds that nature’s medicine in its simplicity carries
a deep wisdom that can facilitate profound healing on many levels.
She prepares medicines from wild plants which she harvests from the land
where she lives, in Prince Edward County ON. She runs a private practice,
creating custom herbal blends, and offering nutritional support as well as
suggesting other natural approaches to help restore and maintain vibrant health.
Tamara also offers guided wild edible & medicinal plant tours throughout her
region, sharing with others her deep appreciation and connection with the wild
abundance surrounding us all. She has been gratefully immersed in this work since 2003, and is a Registered Herbalist with Ontario Herbalists Association. You can learn more about Tamara’s work at www.hawthornherbals.com
Carrie’s passion for yoga, in particular, guided meditation, brought her to the
study of hypnosis. Her relaxed energy and soothing voice leads one into a
deep state of inner calm tapping into inner wisdom where specific challenges
can be addressed.
Carrie is certified with the NGH as a Consulting Hypnotist and has been
helping people improve their lives with hypnosis since 2015. Carrie has been
practicing yoga for over 2 decades and is an RYT 200 yoga instructor leading
slow flow and Yin classes since 2012.
In both her yoga classes and hypnosis sessions, she encourages people to
connect with their inner messenger and learn how to nurture from within to make positive changes in their lives. Her love of healing comes from the profound personal transformations she has experienced over the years in her own life and enjoys sharing these tools with others.
